MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Intersection Improvements on Route 160/13

What: New traffic patterns in place at Route 160/13 intersections at Farm Road 157 and at Steinert Road south of Springfield 

When: By mid-to-late in the day on Wednesday, April 15 

Traffic Pattern Changes:

• At Plainview Road in Springfield – the inside southbound Route 160/13 lane will transition to the new left turn lane at Farm Road 157 while the outside two lanes carry southbound traffic through the FR 157 intersection. 
• At Greene County Farm Road 157 – new J-turn opened that uses turn-around points at Plainview Road and south of Farm Road 186
  • Left-turns from Farm Road 157 and Farm Road 186 are prohibited. 
• At Steinert Road (Greene County Farm Road 192) – new northbound Route 160/13 right turn lane to eastbound Steinert Road open
  • Left-turns from Steinert Road (Farm Road 192) are now prohibited. 
• Drivers urged to use caution at new intersections
