Road Work for Mid-Missouri - April 13-17, 2020

JEFFERSON CITY - The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the period of April 13-17, 2020. The projects listed will include lane closures that could cause traffic delays. Full roadway closures are also noted. Work will take place during the entire week, unless otherwise noted. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule.

Boone County
Daylight Hours
Route 63 between Brown Station Road and Mexico Gravel Road – Concrete replacement in the southbound lanes will take place on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14.

Route 63 between Route AB and Rolling Hills Road – Concrete replacement in the northbound lanes will take place on Wednesday, April 15.

Route 63 between Route H and Deer Park Road – Concrete replacement in the southbound lanes will take place on Thursday, April 16.

Route 63 over Turkey Creek, south of Route AB – Bridge maintenance in the northbound lanes.

Route 63 over Bonne Femme Creek, south of Rolling Hills Road – Bridge maintenance in the northbound lanes.

Route 163 (Providence Road) between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Business Loop 70 – ADA improvements and sidewalk upgrades. The right turn lane from northbound Route 163 to Elm Street will close for one week, beginning Monday, April 13.

Interstate 70 Outer Road between the I-70/Route 63 Connector and Route J – Pavement repair is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 13. The project is scheduled for completion by November 1.

Overnight Hours
Route 63 over Cedar Creek, south of County Road 394 – Bridge deck rehabilitation in the southbound lanes continues through mid-May.

Daylight Hours
Route N at Route B – Culvert pipe replacement. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14.

Route N at County Road 1051 – Culvert pipe replacement. The road will be closed from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14.


Cole County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 54 between Stadium Boulevard and Route AA in Miller County – Pavement and safety improvements, including guardrail and guard cable installation, continue through November.


Cooper County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 179 over the Petite Saline Creek – Bridge replacement. The bridge is closed through August.

Interstate 70 between mile marker 104 and mile marker 109 – Ditch repair along the westbound lanes.


Crawford County
Daylight/Overnight Hours
Route 49 over Dry Fork Creek, south of Route 19 – Bridge replacement continues through July. Temporary traffic signals are in place to direct traffic through the work area.

Route CC over Brush Creek, east of Simpson Road – Bridge replacement continues through late May. The road is closed.

Interstate 44 – Pavement repair in the eastbound and westbound lanes.

Daylight Hours
Interstate 44 between Route F and Route FF – Shoulder and edge rut repair in the eastbound and westbound lanes.

Route 19 between Interstate 44 and Wildcat Pride Drive – Pavement marking.

Route 19 between Route 8 and Route TT in Dent County – Brush cutting.

Route 19 between Route 49 and the Dent County line – Pavement repair.

Route TT between Route 8 and Liberty Road – Pavement repair.

Route 68 between Route FF and Route 19 – Edge rut repair.

Interstate 44 between the Webster County Line and the Pulaski County Line –
Roadway resurfacing and guardrail work in the eastbound and westbound lanes continues through November.

Route JJ between Route T and County Road 205 – Culvert pipe replacement.

Route 54 at Route W – Interchange construction continues until December 2021.

Route 54 between Route AA and Stadium Boulevard in Cole County – Pavement and safety improvements, including guardrail and guard cable installation, continue through November.


Morgan County

Route 5 between Route 52 and Gravois Heights Road –
Roadside maintenance.


Phelps County
Daylight Hours
Route B between Route 68 and the Gasconade County line – Ditch cleaning and culvert pipe repair.

Route C between the Interstate 44 North Outer Road and County Road 8490 – Brush cutting.

Route F between Route 68 and Route 72 – Edge rut repair.

Route K between Route 63 and Western Road – Brush cutting.

Route P between Route J and Route T – Pavement repair.


Pulaski County
Daylight Hours
Interstate 44 between mile marker 145 and mile marker 169 – Shoulder repair in the eastbound and westbound lanes.

Route U between Route 17 and Route 42 in Miller County – Resurfacing and shoulder widening is scheduled to begin with culvert installation on Monday, April 13. The project is expected to be completed in November.


Washington County

Route AA over Fourche-A-Renault Creek – Bridge replacement continues through July. The bridge is closed.

Route 8 between Old Route 8 and Railroad Road – Bridge maintenance.

Route 104 between Route 21 North and Route 21 South – Pavement repair.

Route E between Route 21 and Route CC – Culvert pipe replacement.

Route CC between Route 21 and Route E – Culvert pipe replacement.
