CLAY COUNTY – Due to the anticipation of cooler temperatures over the weekend, the Missouri Department of Transportation has revised the work schedule for pavement repair at Garrison Rd. and 69 Highway in Clay County.
Crews will intermittently close one lane of Garrison Rd. at 69 Highway from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Thursday (today), April 9, Friday, April 10 and Monday, April 13 for pavement repair work. This work was originally scheduled for April 10 and 11. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
