JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be completing diamond grinding and jobsite cleanup along portions of I-435 that will require the CLOSURE of various lanes and ramps between Three Trails Crossing to State Line on Monday, April 6. These closures will have impacts to traffic. The information on the closures is listed below by date range. All work is weather permitting.
Monday, April 6
- Crews will CLOSE the left lane of westbound I-435 from just before the Grandview Rd. bridge to 104th Str. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the left two lanes from 104th St. to just past the Grandview Rd. bridge from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the two right most lanes of westbound I-435 from Holmes Rd. to State Line from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the westbound I-435 off ramp to Wornall Rd. from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the Wornall Rd. on ramp to westbound I-435 from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- Crews will CLOSE the westbound I-435 off ramp to State Line Rd. from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Motorists should expect delays during this time. The project is scheduled to be completed sometime in spring 2020. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
