What: Missouri Route 258 to OPEN at Railey Creek near Galena
When: By noon on Friday, April 3
Details: Contractor crews have completed the project to replace the bridge over Railey Creek. Drivers may see crews completing work to apply grass seed and mulch in areas with one-lane traffic during the week of April 6, but traffic will be able to cross the new bridge.
Project Details:
- Missouri Route 248 closed at Railey Creek on November 18, 2019
- Project replaced old, deteriorating bridge
- New bridge is wider and does not have an overhead truss structure
- Prime contractor: Lehman Construction Company of California, Mo.
- Total estimated project cost: $1.2 million
