SALINE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Missouri Route D at Heath’s Creek between the intersection of Routes K and T and Route H beginning April 6 through June 2020.
This is the first of two bridge replacements scheduled this year on Route D. The second project will replace the bridge over South Fork of Blackwater River between Route 127 and the intersection of Routes K and T. It is slated to begin in June. All work is weather dependent.
These bridges are included in Gov. Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
