Missouri Route 41 to close at Flat Creek between Route E and Route D

SALINE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Missouri Route 41 at Flat Creek between Route E and Route D from April 6 through June 2020 for bridge replacement. There will be a signed detour that will have motorists use Route 240, Route P and Route D.

This is the first of two bridge replacements scheduled this year on Route 41. The second project will replace the bridge of Camp Creek. It is slated to begin in July. All work is weather dependent.

These bridges are included in Gov. Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
