MoDOT delays month-long EB I-44 to Jefferson ramp closure until April 6

ST. LOUIS – MoDOT has delayed a month-long closure of the ramp from eastbound I-44 to Jefferson until April 6, due to weather.

Crews have delayed the work due to rain this week and expected into this weekend.

As part of on-going construction on the I-44 bridge over Jefferson, crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-44 to Jefferson for 30 days to rebuild the ramp.

The ramp will close Monday, April 6, at 9 a.m. for reconstruction, weather permitting.

Drivers can exit at Layfayette (Exit 290B) and use Truman and Chouteau to detour to Jefferson.
