MoDOT to close ramp from EB I-44 to Jefferson for month on March 30

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use eastbound I-44 to get to Jefferson in the city of St. Louis will need to use an alternate route starting March 30.

As part of on-going construction on the I-44 bridge over Jefferson, crews will close the ramp from eastbound I-44 to Jefferson for 30 days to rebuild the ramp.

The ramp will close Monday, March 30, at 9 a.m. for reconstruction, weather permitting.

Drivers can exit at Layfayette (Exit 290B) and use Truman and Chouteau to detour to Jefferson.
