Crawford County Route CC Bridge to Close for Improvement

CRAWFORD COUNTY – Crawford County Route CC will be closed at the Brush Creek crossing, north of Cuba, as crews work to extend the life of the bridge.

The current bridge was built in 1963 and is 24 feet wide. The bridge’s deck has deteriorated and needs to be replaced. The new bridge deck will improve safety for travelers by adding two feet in width for a total of 26 feet.

Contractors for the Missouri Department of Transportation are expected to close the road to traffic on the morning of Monday, March 30. Signs are in place to alert motorists of the closure. The road is expected to be closed for two months. Motorists are asked to use Crawford County Route C as an alternate route.

This project is weather permitting and could be delayed.
