What: Jasper County Route D bridge over Center Creek OPEN to traffic at Oronogo

When: 4:15 p.m., Friday, March 13

Details: Contractor crews finished work to build new Route D bridge over Center Creek

Project details:

  • Project replaced old truss bridge with new higher and wider bridge with no truss at Oronogo.
  • The bridge was originally closed in April 2019. Completion was delayed due to weather and unforeseen construction issues.
  • Total project cost: $3 million
  • Prime contractor: Hartman & Company, Springfield
