MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Traffic Signal Work Along U.S. Route 160 in Nixa to Cause Delays March 11

What: Traffic signal work on U.S. Route 160 at Aldersgate/Kathryn Street and Wasson Road in Nixa to cause delays 

When: 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday, March 11 

Delays: Contractor crews installing new flashing yellow arrows to traffic signals in left turn lanes at the two intersections 

Traffic Impacts:

  • Traffic signals will be turned off and dark
  • Christian County Sheriff’s deputies will direct traffic during traffic signal work
  • Drivers are urged to use caution and watch for officers on foot in the intersections
  • When the new signals go into full operation, drivers will be able to make left turns when the yellow arrows begin flashing 

(Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule)
