St. Louis Work Zones for March 5 - 11

ST. LOUIS –Motorists should plan ahead and use alternate routes as significant delays are expected for this weekend on the Interstate 70 Blanchette Missouri River Bridge.

Crews will close up to three I-70 westbound lanes on Saturday, March 7 during the day as crews prepare for the traffic switch to move two eastbound lanes onto the westbound bridge. Drivers should expect up to a ten-minute closure on the westbound bridge during various times on Saturday, March 7. Message boards will be in place to alert drivers of the closures during this time.

In addition, drivers who travel I-44 near I-270 should be aware of multiple lane closures this weekend. Crews will close two I-44 lanes eastbound and westbound between Bowles and Watson on Saturday, March 7, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, Lafayette ramp to westbound I-44 closed until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, Jefferson ramp to eastbound I-44/southbound I-55 closed starting until July 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one left lane closed Grand to Lafayette until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two left lanes closed Jefferson to Nebraska until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one left lane closed Nebraska to Grand until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through early 2022.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, one left lane closed westbound between Route 141 and 5th Street until late 2020.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, one lane closed in each direction through late spring.
  • Route K, St. Charles County, one lane closed weekdays at East Terra Lane from Sonderen to Route K until late spring.

  • I-64, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound between Ballas and Spoede.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, one lane closed westbound near I-270.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., two lanes closed eastbound near I-270.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, northbound ramp to westbound I-70 will be closed.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Route 109.
  • Route T, St. Charles County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed from I-70 to Route M. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., two lanes closed eastbound from Route 94 to Route 141.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound between Route 100 and Neosho St.
