UPDATE Feb. 18-21: Single-lane closures planned for Interstate 29 between Faucett and Dearborn

Additional lane closures added for today and tomorrow

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The project to replace the Interstate 29 overpass on Route 116 between Faucett and Dearborn may slow drivers today and tomorrow. In order to work safely on the bridge project, contractors from Clarkson Construction Company will close one lane of I-29 at the bridge site just north of mile marker 32 each of the following days:

  • Wednesday, Feb. 19
    • Southbound driving lane, 6 a.m. to noon
    • Northbound passing lane, 6 a.m. to noon
  • Thursday, Feb. 20
    • Southbound driving lane, 6 a.m. to noon
    • Northbound passing lane, 6 a.m. to noon

One northbound lane and one southbound lane are expected to remain open during the times listed above.

All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones and through the heavy congestion on the detour routes.
