Closure planned for Interstate 229 ramp in St. Joseph

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A brief ramp closure on the north end of St. Joseph will affect some motorists Monday, Feb. 10. The ramp closure is necessary to safely repair damaged guardrail.

Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation will close the Exit 14C off ramp from northbound I-229 to northbound I-29 on Monday, Feb. 10, between 10:30 a.m. and noon. Motorists are advised to use an alternate route. The project is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.

MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
