JEFFERSON CITY - At its regular monthly meeting this week, the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission approved a contract to replace the Route AA bridge over Fourche-A-Renault Creek in Washington County.
The contract was awarded to Pace Construction, which submitted the low bid of $1,027,000.
The current bridge, located east of Floyd Tower Road, is included in Governor Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
A start date for work on the bridge has not yet been established. MoDOT will alert the public with updates through signs, news releases and social media once a start date has been determined.
