Sikeston - Route D in New Madrid County will be closed as contractor crews construct a new bridge over drainage ditch 43.
This section of roadway is located between Route 153 and County Road 531.
Weather permitting, work will begin at 7 a.m. on Monday, February 10 and re-open Friday, June 12 at 5 p.m.
This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
