CRAWFORD COUNTY – Contractors working for the Missouri Department of Transportation will begin the replacement of the Route 49 bridge over Dry Fork Creek in Crawford County on Monday, January 20.
The bridge, located west of Cherryville, will be reduced to one lane while work takes place, with temporary traffic signals to guide traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled to be complete by July 1.
This bridge is included in Governor Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
The work is weather permitting and could be delayed. For more information about this project or other transportation-related matters, please call 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636) or visit www.modot.org/central. Follow the MoDOT Central Missouri District on Facebook and Twitter for project updates.
