UPDATE: Routes in Schuyler County Will Temporarily Close

Crews Prepare Roads for Wind Turbine Equipment Transport

MACON – POSTPONED - Weather permitting, High Prairie Wind Farm has rescheduled the road closures in Schuyler County that were recently postponed. They will temporarily close routes in Schuyler County for road work in preparation of the wind turbine deliveries. The following routes will be affected.

Schuyler County Route O – The road will be closed 0.5 mile east of South Stockpin Trail. It will close at 7:00 a.m. on Jan. 20 and reopen on the evening of Jan. 27.

Schuyler County Route D – The road will be closed 0.1 mile south of Kethe Lane. It will close at 7:00 a.m. on Jan. 20 and reopen on the evening of Jan. 23.

Schuyler County Route A – The road will be closed 1.5 miles east of U.S. Route 64. It will close at 7:00 a.m. on Jan. 20 and reopen on the evening of Jan. 26.

This work is to flatten some curves on the road to make it possible for High Prairie Wind Farm to deliver turbines.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes during the closure time. Please obey all work zones signs and personnel.
