TRAFFIC ALERT: Two Bridges in Henry County Posted with Weight Limits Due to Deterioration

What: Recent bridge inspections showed deterioration, requiring MoDOT to restrict heavy loads on two bridges on state routes in the Windsor area 

When: Beginning today (Friday, December 27). New weight limit signs will be installed as soon as possible. 

Where:

  • Missouri Route 2 bridge over Tebo Creek west of Windsor
  • Missouri Route 52 bridge over the Katy Trail southeast of Windsor 

Traffic Impacts:

  • Weight limits on both bridges reduced to 25 tons. (A regular semi-truck weighs 40 tons)
  • Bridges remain open to traffic
  • Both bridges safe for travel
