Road Work for Mid-Missouri

December 23, 2019 - January, 2020

The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the two-week period of December 23, 2019 – January 3, 2020. Scheduled projects will not take place on Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1 due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The projects listed will include lane closures that could cause traffic delays. Full roadway closures are also noted. Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule.

All Counties 
Daylight Hours 
Mowing, striping, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations.  Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.


Boone County
Daylight Hours 
Route 163 (Providence Road) between Interstate 70 and Route K
 – Signal upgrades, sidewalk repair and ADA improvements in various locations continue. The project is scheduled for completion in August, 2020.

Route 763 (College Avenue) between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Business Loop 70 –Signal upgrades, sidewalk repair and ADA improvements in various locations continue. The project is scheduled for completion in late December.

Route 163 (Providence Road) between Route 740 (Stadium Boulevard) and Champions Drive – Inspection of the pedestrian bridge will begin Monday, December 23 and could last multiple days. One lane in each direction will be closed during the inspection.


Camden County

Route 54 between Key Largo Road and Spring Valley Road – Utility work in the westbound lanes will continue the week of December 23.


Crawford County
Daylight Hours
Route 19 between Route 8 and Enterprise Drive – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route 19 between Route 8 and the Dent County line – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route 19 at Wildcat Pride Drive – ADA and sidewalk improvements will take place the week of December 23.

Route M between Route 8 and Route YY – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route O between Route 19 and Riverside Road – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, December 27.

Route HH between Route 19 and Sig Bass Road – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route YY between Route M and Route 68 in Phelps County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route ZZ between Route F and Route KK – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, December 27.


Dent County

Route 32 between Route 72 and Route F – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.


Howard County

Route H between County Road 201 and County Road 222 – Drainage repair will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route P between County Road 421 and County Road 451 – Drainage repair will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3. 

Route Y between Route 124 and County Road 135 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route BB between Route O and County Road 134 – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.


Maries County

Route 42 between Route 28 and Route A in Miller County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route D between Route 52 and Gunn Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, December 30.

Route KK between Butterfield Trail and Schlobohm Road – Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Tuesday, December 31.

Route 63 between Interstate 44 and Route CC –
 Roadway resurfacing and sidewalk repair continues.

Route C between Interstate 44 Outer Road and the end of state maintenance – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3. 

Route E between Interstate 44 and the end of state maintenance in Maries County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route J between Route K and Route Z – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route P between Route J and Route T– Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route YY between Route 68 and Route M in Crawford County – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.


Pulaski County

Route 28 between Route C and Route PP – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Route 28 between Route C and Route 63 in Maries County – Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.

Business Loop 44 between Route F and Missouri Avenue – Joint and crack sealing will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3.


Washington County

Route A between Route 47 and Route 185 – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, December 27.

Route E between Route 21 and Route CC – Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, December 23 and Friday, December 27.

Route T between Route A and Route 185 – Brush cutting will take place Monday, December 23 through Friday, December 27.
