TRAFFIC ALERT: Work on Southbound Route 65 Bridge at Bear Creek North of Branson POSTPONED

Until Week of Jan. 6

What: Bridge work on southbound Route 65 bridge over Bear Creek (Mile Marker 20) north of Branson POSTPONED until week of Jan. 6 

When: ‘Round the clock starting Monday, Jan. 6. Work could last up to two weeks. 

Why: MoDOT crews repairing components underneath the bridge requiring one lane to remain closed ‘round the clock during the work 

Traffic Impacts:

  • One southbound lane of Route 65 closed ‘round the clock. One lane southbound will remain open at all times.
  • Lane must remain closed for the safety of the traveling public due to the nature of the bridge repairs
  • Traffic slowdowns and backups are possible during heavy traffic volume times
  • Drivers urged to seek alternate routes if possible.
