TRAFFIC ALERT: Overhead Flashing Light at Route 76/Taney County Route VV Intersection

Removed Dec. 11

What: Overhead flasher at intersection of Missouri Route 76 and Taney County Route VV removed permanently by MoDOT crews 

When: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 

Why: A recent traffic study conducted by MoDOT engineers found the flashing signal was no longer needed at the intersection. 

Traffic Impacts:

  • One-lane traffic with flaggers on the roadway directing traffic during the removal of the flasher.
  • Traffic pattern remains the same at the intersection. Drivers on Route VV must stop at Route 76.
  • Drivers urged to use caution.
