ST. CHARLES COUNTY – Road work on I-70 in St. Charles County is expected to cause delays for motorists Saturday, Dec. 7.
The Missouri Department of Transportation will make repairs and replace about 100 feet of pavement on eastbound I-70, just west of Wentzville Parkway. Eastbound traffic will be restricted to one lane in this area Saturday at 7 p.m. until Sunday, Dec. 8, at 7 a.m.
Motorists traveling through the area could experience significant delays and should plan ahead. Local traffic should consider alternate routes.
MoDOT Maintenance Engineer Bob Becker said the repair was urgent and being done when traffic and weather conditions were most suitable.
