JEFFERSON CITY - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded contracts for resurfacing several areas of Cole County.
The commission awarded contracts for the following projects:
- U.S. Route 54 between Stadium Boulevard in Jefferson City and the Cole/Miller County line. Resurfacing and guard cable installation. The project was awarded to Magruder Paving, which submitted the low bid of $9,284,594.
- Cole County Route E between U.S. Route 54 and Route B, and Cole County Route M between U.S. Route 50 and Route W; Resurfacing and ADA improvements. The project was also awarded to Magruder Paving, which submitted the low bid of $2,686,499.
A start date for each project has not yet been established. MoDOT will alert the public with updates through signs, news releases and social media.
