JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be completing signage work and shoulder repairs that will require the CLOSURE of various lanes and ramps along westbound I-435 between Three Trails Crossing to State Line. This work will begin on Thursday, Dec. 5. All work is weather permitting.
Thursday, Dec. 5 – Friday, Dec. 6
- The outer most right lane along westbound I-435 between Three Trails Crossing to State Line will be CLOSED until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 for signage work and shoulder repairs.
- Crews will CLOSE the on ramp from Wornall Rd. to eastbound I-435 beginning at 6 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, until approximately 6 p.m. for shoulder work.
- There will be a continuous closure of the eastbound I-435 off ramp to Holmes Rd. beginning at 6 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
Saturday, Dec. 7 – Sunday, Dec.8
- The outer most right lane along westbound I-435 between Three Trails Crossing to State Line will be CLOSED until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 for signage work and shoulder repairs.
- There will be a continuous closure of the eastbound I-435 off ramp to Holmes Rd. beginning at 6 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8.
Monday, Dec. 9 – Tuesday, Dec. 10
- The outer most right lane along westbound I-435 between Three Trails Crossing to State Line will be CLOSED until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 for signage work and shoulder repairs.
- Crews will have a continuous lane closure of the outermost lane of eastbound I-435 from State Line to Three Trails Crossing until approximately 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 for signage work and shoulder repairs.
Wednesday, Dec. 11 – Thursday, Dec. 12
- The outer most right lane along eastbound I-435 between Three Trails Crossing to State Line will be CLOSED until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18 for signage work and shoulder repairs.
Friday, Dec. 13
- The outer most right lane along eastbound I-435 between Three Trails Crossing to State Line will be CLOSED until 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18 for signage work and shoulder repairs.
- Crews will CLOSE the left two lanes of eastbound I-435 from Wornall to State Line beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, and ending at 5 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists should expect delays during this time. The project is scheduled to be completed sometime in spring 2020. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
