Weight Restriction on Henry Co. Rt. K Bridge South of Urich Due to Deterioration
Henry County – A recent inspection of the Henry County Route K bridge over South Grand River south of Urich revealed deteriorating conditions prompting an immediate need to place weight limits on the bridge, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
All vehicles will be limited to 25 tons.
The legal maximum weight limit for vehicles in Missouri is 40 tons.
The bridge was built in 1968 and carries approximately 975 vehicles a day.
MoDOT is developing plans to repair the bridge in the next year.
