Bridge and Culvert Work Will Temporarily Impact Traffic in Audrain County

MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT will be doing the following bridge and culvert work in Audrain County. Please see the dates and locations below.

Audrain County Route HH - Nov. 11, the road will be closed from 3 miles east of U.S. 54 to 5 miles west of Audrain County Route M for culvert replacements.  The work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. that day.

Audrain County Route J - Nov. 12-13, traffic will be reduced to one lane from 0.25 mile north to 0.25 mile south of the South Fork Salt River bridge, located on the north edge of Mexico, for bridge work.  The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day.

U.S. Route 54 (soutbound) - Nov. 14, traffic will be reduced to one lane from 1 mile north to 1 mile south of Beaver Dam Creek bridge, for bridge work.  The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day.

For the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route. Please use caution if you will be traveling through these areas, and remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel. Please put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
