Resurfacing Project Awarded for Missouri Route 15 near Paris in Monroe County

MACON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recently awarded a contract to Emery Sapp & Sons, of St. Louis, Missouri, for a resurfacing project on Missouri Route 15 in Monroe County, from Missouri Route 154 north junction to Monroe County Route D near Paris. The cost of this project is $722,732.

“Crews will be milling the roadway and then resurfacing with a 1.5 inch overlay,” said MoDOT Area Engineer Brian Untiedt.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane through the work zone while the work is completed. The work could begin as early as this spring and should be completed before next fall.

“A more specific schedule on this project will be shared after the contractor provides the plan for completing the work,” Untiedt added.
