Highway Commission to meet Wednesday in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will select the contractor for the I-270 North Design-Build Project tomorrow when they meet in St. Louis. The $278 million project will address safety, accessibility and aging infrastructure along I-270, from I-70 to west of Riverview Dr.

The commission will hold its monthly meeting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at St. Louis Community    College – Florissant Valley, 3400 Pershall Road in Ferguson. The meeting will be held in the Student Center Multipurpose Room.

Other items on the agenda include high-priority unfunded needs, the recent statewide DBE goal and availability study and a resolution authorizing the sale of state road bonds to fund the Focus on Bridges program.
