NOW OPEN: Platte River Bridge on Route O near Cosby

COSBY, Mo. – After being closed since mid-March of this year, the Platte River Bridge on Route O, just west of Cosby, reopened to all traffic this afternoon. Flooding throughout the region earlier this year delayed the bridge reconstruction project led by contractors from Widel, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation. After flooding subsided, crews were able to remobilize and complete the project.
