DELAYED: Milling and resurfacing planned next week south of Easton

EASTON, Mo – Due to weather, crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation have rescheduled work to mill and resurface a portion of Route 31 south of Easton.

Crews now plan to close Route 31 between Bolivar Street and Crouse Street to lay down a new road surface over a recent culvert replacement on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at approximately 7 a.m. The road should reopen by 3:30 p.m. that same afternoon. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closure.

All work is weather dependent, and schedules may change.
