JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will continue construction work at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week. This work involves various lane and ramp closures. It will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.

- Beginning on Monday, Oct. 28, through Thursday, Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. nightly to 5 a.m. the following mornings, eastbound I-70 will be reduced to ONE LANE between U.S. Highway 40 and Stadium Drive for overhang sign removal.
- Intermittent slowdowns will occur during this time.
- Beginning Monday, Oct. 28, through Thursday, Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. nightly to 5 a.m. the following mornings, westbound I-70 will be reduced to ONE LANE between Blue Ridge Cutoff and Manchester Trafficway for overhang sign removal.
- Intermittent slowdowns will occur during this time.
- Beginning on Monday, Oct. 28, through Thursday, Oct. 31 from 7 p.m. nightly to 5 a.m. the following mornings, eastbound I-70 will be reduced to ONE LANE between U.S. Highway 40 and Stadium Drive for overhang sign removal.
