Girder Delivery Will Stop Traffic on Jasper County Route D Week of Oct. 28
What: Traffic slowed or stopped on Jasper County Route D at Hawthorne Road near Webb City
When: Afternoon hours Monday, Oct. 28 and Thursday, Friday and, possibly, Saturday, Oct. 31-Nov. 2
Details:
- Contractor crews taking delivery of bridge girders for the new Center Creek bridge near Webb City
- Large trucks will haul the girders north on Route 249 to westbound Route 171 to northbound Route D
- Trucks will have to turn around at Route D and Hawthorne Road and back the girders north on Route D to the bridge project
- During the turn around time, traffic at the junction of Route D and Hawthorne Road will be stopped
- Drivers urged to avoid the area, if possible
