ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close the ramp from southbound Route 759 to westbound U.S. Route 36 for a sealing project that will extend onto the Missouri River Bridge on U.S. Route 36 westbound. The bridge will remain open to one lane during the sealing, but the ramp will be closed. The lane closure on the bridge and the full closure of the ramp will be between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. tomorrow, Oct. 23, 2019.
All work is weather permitting. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
