JOHNSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the median crossing to County Road 1801 from U.S. Route 50 from Monday, Oct. 28 to Friday, Nov. 22.
During this closure crews will be constructing deceleration lanes in the median for both eastbound and westbound Highway 50 exiting onto County Road 1801. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
