OSAGE COUNTY -- The Missouri Department of Transportation is seeking feedback from the public on an upcoming bridge replacement project on Osage County Route D, approximately three miles west of Gasconade County Route A.
The existing bridge over Mistaken Creek was built in 1954 and is sixty-five years old. The condition of the bridge has reached a point where replacement is necessary.
Construction is scheduled to take place in 2020. During construction, Route D will be closed at the bridge for up to three months. Signs will be in place to alert motorists of the closed road and the detour route.
The total project cost is an estimated $567,000.
Motorists and area residents are encouraged to provide feedback and comments on this project. Visit modot.org/modot-central-district. The online comment period will run from October 21 to November 4.
