New Traffic Pattern at Greene Co Rt 13/Rt O DELAYED; Traffic Signal Removed With New Left-Turn
What: New traffic pattern coming to Missouri Route 13 at Greene County Route O north of Springfield
When: After 9 a.m. on Monday, October 21. Change delayed due to wet conditions during the week of Oct. 14.
Traffic Impacts:
- Traffic signal turned off and removed
- Drivers must use new J-turn intersection configuration to reach destinations
- Drivers on Route O must turn right on Route 13 and proceed to u-turn point north or south of intersection to reach destinations
- Temporarily until median work is complete, drivers on Route 13 must proceed to u-turn point to reach Greene County Route O on either side of Route 13
- After median work is complete, drivers on Route 13 will be able to make left-turns onto Route O from median turn lanes
- Drivers urged to use caution traveling through the intersection
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the new traffic pattern change
