I-70 and I-435 Interchange Construction Continues TONIGHT Oct. 17

JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will continue construction work at the I-435 and I-70 interchange TONIGHT, Thursday, Oct. 17. This work involves various lane and ramp closures. It will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.

  • Westbound I-70 will be reduced to one lane from Blue Ridge Cutoff to Manchester Trafficway for deck panel replacement work beginning on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning.
  • The ramp from southbound I-435 to westbound I-70 will be CLOSED OVERNIGHT on Thursday, Oct. 17 beginning at 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. Motorists must find alternate routes during this time.
