What: Route 76 to OPEN between Business 65 at the roundabout and Lake Shore Drive north of Hollister
When: By 5 p.m. today (Saturday, Oct. 12)
Details:
- MoDOT crews placed rock to build up shoulder
- MoDOT geologist and engineers determined rock/dirt slide did not undermine the roadway and developed a plan to reinforce the shoulder of the roadway
- Repairs started Friday and lasted throughout the day today (Saturday, Oct. 12)
Why: Heavy rains caused shoulder along Route 76 to collapse and slide down the hill on the Lake Taneycomo side of roadway. The damage occurred early Friday morning, Oct. 11.
