The southbound Interstate 55 ramp at mile marker 105 in Cape Girardeau County will be closed as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform pavement repairs. This exit is located at Fruitland, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the ramp reopening to traffic after 2 p.m. Work will resume the following day, with a closure remaining in place from 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct 16. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
