Ramp at Interstate 29 and U.S. Route 36 to close for concrete replacement

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Local maintenance crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will close the ramp from northbound Interstate 29 to westbound U.S. Route 36 on Tuesday, Oct. 8 for a concrete replacement project. Crews will close the ramp at 7 a.m. Tuesday morning and expect it to be reopened by 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9. The ramp will remain closed overnight to allow the concrete to cure.

Motorists should seek an alternate route during the closure. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely through work zones to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
