JACKSON COUNTY –MoDOT Kansas City will continue construction work at the I-435 and I-70 interchange this week. This work involves various lane closures. It will have impacts to traffic. Motorists are advised to plan ahead, leave early, or consider an alternate route. All work is weather permitting.
- The left lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be CLOSED for bridge construction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily beginning on Monday, Sept. 30, until Friday, Oct. 4.
- The right lane of westbound I-70 from Stadium Drive to I-435 will be CLOSED for bridge construction OVERNIGHT from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each morning beginning Monday, Sept. 30, until Thursday, Oct. 3.
- NEW: Southbound I-435 between U.S. Highway 40 to Stadium Dr. will be reduced to one lane for paving operations beginning at 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3.
