Interstate 29 ramp closures planned

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close two Interstate 29 ramps in St. Joseph next week for concrete replacement. Crews will close both the southbound I-29 ramp to eastbound U.S. Route 36 and eastbound U.S. Route 36 to northbound I-29 ramps on Monday, Oct. 7 beginning at 8 a.m. through Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 9 a.m. The lane closures will remain in place overnight allowing the concrete to cure.

All work is weather permitting. Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure. MoDOT encourages all motorists to slow down, buckle up, eliminate distractions and drive safely to ensure everyone is able to Arrive Alive.
