I-44/I-49/Route 249 Ramps (MM 11) in Jasper Co. CLOSED at Night Sept. 18-20 for Resurfacing

What: Ramps at the I-44/I-49/Missouri Route 249 interchange (Mile Maker 11) in Jasper County CLOSED at times during nighttime hours for resurfacing. One ramp at a time closed where crews are working, all others remain open.

When: 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 18 to 6 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 and 7 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 19 to 6 a.m., Friday, Sept. 20

Traffic Impacts:

  • Ramps closed where crews are working
  • No signed detours
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes including the Range Line Road/I-44 interchange (Mile Marker 8), Prigmor Avenue/I-44 interchange (Mile Marker 13) and I-44/Missouri Route 66 interchange (Mile Marker 15)
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers to the ramp closings

 

Additional Information: The work on the ramps is part of a larger project to resurface I-44 between Range Line Road in Joplin and Missouri Route 37 near Sarcoxie (Mile Markers 8-26). Completion date for the resurfacing project is Sept. 30, 2019.
