St. Louis Work Zones for September 18-25

ST. LOUIS – Drivers heading west from downtown St. Louis will need to avoid the ramp from 14th Street to westbound I-64 starting Monday, September 23 at 7 a.m., as crews will close the ramp for the next two months to remove, repair, and replace the driving surface.

Detours will be marked; drivers can use 10th Street, Pine Street or Jefferson ramps to get to the westbound interstate.

If you are traveling to the Great Forest Park Balloon Race this weekend, consider using alternate entrances. Law enforcement may close ramps on eastbound and westbound 64 temporarily due to traffic conditions.

Drivers in St. Charles County should seek alternate routes beginning Monday, September 23 as MoDOT will close Route T at Route OO to Route M as part of a road widening and bridge project.  Drivers will be able to detour use Route OO to Route M. Detour information is placed on message boards in the area.

For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions (including flood closures) go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is weather permitting and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
