TRAFFIC ALERT:

Traffic Signal Switch at South Street/Selmore Road/3rd Street in Ozark Today (Sept. 18)

What: Contractor crews switching existing traffic signal to temporary signal at South Street/Selmore Road/3rd Street intersection in Ozark  

When: 10 a.m. today (Wednesday, Sept. 18) 

Traffic Impacts:

  • Traffic signal will be turned off for about an hour-and-a-half (1.5) hours during the switch
  • Ozark police officers will direct traffic
  • Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through the intersection and could experience delays 

Details:

  • Signal is being switched to a temporary system as work progresses on the widening of South Street between 6th and 19th Streets 

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
