Contract Awarded for the Rehabilitation of Three Bridges at the Taylor Interchange in Marion County

HANNIBAL – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has awarded the improvement project contract for rehabilitation of the three bridges in Marion County.  These bridges are located on U.S. Route 61 and U.S. Route 24 at the Taylor interchange 1.5 miles north of Missouri Route 6.

Phillips Hardy, Inc. submitted the low bid of $1,754,744 and was awarded the contract for improvements last week.  Work on the project will take place in 2020.  When a start date is established, MoDOT will alert the public about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
