Perche Creek Bridge Repairs to Take Place on I-70 Tonight

BOONE COUNTY – Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be making repairs that will close one lane of westbound Interstate 70 at the Perche Creek bridge.

The bridge, located west of Columbia, has a joint that needs to be repaired to ensure the continued safe use of the bridge.

Work will begin at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4. MoDOT expects all work to be complete by the following morning. However, it is difficult to know the extent of the repairs needed until crews begin work on the road.

No major traffic delays are expected. MoDOT encourages all motorists to use caution when traveling through the work zone and obey all traffic signs.
