St. Louis Work Zones for September 5 - 11

Chip seal projects start Monday on Route D and Route Z

ST. LOUIS – Drivers in St. Charles County who use Route D and Route Z should be aware of chip seal projects starting next week. Work will be underway on the following routes, dates and time:

  • Monday, September 9, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Route D between Route DD and Orrwood Road
  • Tuesday, September 10, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Route Z between Route D and Route N
  • Wednesday, September 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Route Z between Route N and Interstate Drive

During the construction, a pilot car will help navigate traffic through the closures. Drivers are encouraged to slow down, watch for loose rocks/gravel and use extra caution while driving through the work zones.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one westbound lane closed from Jefferson to Grand through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis, two westbound lanes closed from Grand to Macklind through December.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one eastbound lane closed from Hampton to Grand through December
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Vandeventer to westbound I-44 is closed through December.
  • I-64, St. Louis City, the ramp from eastbound to 14th Street is closed through September.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through late 2021.
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed eastbound between the Meramec River and Geyer until November.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, westbound Watson ramp onto I-270 is closed until late October.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, the Dorsett-Midland bridge over Lindbergh is closed until September.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, the left turn lane is closed on the bridge over Route 100 until summer 2020.
  • Route 366, St. Louis County, the westbound ramp to westbound I-44 and northbound and southbound I-270 is closed through November.
  • Route 370, St. Charles County, one left lane eastbound and westbound closed through fall.
  • Route 79, St. Charles County, one lane eastbound and westbound will be closed on Salt River Road over Route 79 until early December.
  • Route B, St. Charles County, Route B between Hodges Club Road and Kampsville Road will close at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 until early October.
  • Route 30, Jefferson County, the turn lane between Carol Park and Ottomeyer Road is closed until late September.

  • I-70, St. Louis County, midnight to 4 a.m., expect delays due to rolling lane closures from westbound I-70 to I-270 northbound and southbound for bridge painting. As crews are striping the roadway, there may be interstate closures up to five minutes.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., up to two lanes closed eastbound and westbound various locations from Springdale to Hanley.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 9:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., two lanes closed northbound at Route 370.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 9:30 p.m. to 4 a.m., ramps to westbound Route 370 and Missouri Bottom will be closed.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., one lane closed southbound between I-64 and Route 30.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., one lane closed northbound between Route 30 and I-64.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., one lane closed westbound at Route 109.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound at Dorsett.
  • Route 30, St. Louis County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed westbound over the Meramec River.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed eastbound and westbound at Route K.
  • Route 94, St. Charles County, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound from O’Fallon Road to Wolfrum.
  • Route T, St. Charles County, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed between I-70 Outer Road and Route OO and Route N. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • Route K, St. Charles County, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed northbound and southbound under I-70.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed southbound at Flucom Road.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., one lane closed northbound at Flucom Road.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., southbound entry and exit ramps to Route 110 will be closed.
  • Route 110, Jefferson County, 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m., one lane closed from Route 67 to Route 21. Flaggers will direct traffic through the closure.
  • I-44, Franklin County, 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., one lane closed west bound from Route 30/47 to the Crawford County line.

  • I-70, St. Louis County, 9 p.m. to 10 a.m., three lanes closed westbound from Route 141 to 5th Street.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, 6 a.m. to noon, northbound ramp to eastbound I-44 will be closed.
  • Route 141, St. Louis County, 9 p.m. to 10 a.m., northbound ramp to westbound I-70 will be closed.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., traffic diverted up and over ramps at Route 109.
